Filip Spets was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 20 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Löddeköpinge fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Sandsjöfors a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hjalmar Nyman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Löddeköpinge's Bertil Strömqvist. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Löddeköpinge's zone, Alf Wennerquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertil Strömqvist came out of the goal and Alf Wennerquist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Löddeköpinge getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bernt Nord hit a great ball. In the 31stth minute of the game Bernt Valström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Löddeköpinge's Bertil Strömqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute, Martin Liljeström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alf Wennerquist came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Sandsjöfors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alf Wennerquist couldn't finish the play. Martin Liljeström's late challenge caught a Sandsjöfors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Liljeström helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes, Sandsjöfors's Hjalmar Nyman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bertil Strömqvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sandsjöfors reached it. In the 39th minute, Martin Liljeström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandsjöfors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alf Wennerquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Bernt Valström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bertil Strömqvist was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stefan Colin made a kick off. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Bernt Valström sped through Löddeköpinge's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bertil Strömqvist. After a rather tough play, Sandsjöfors's Hjalmar Nyman got a free kick in the 55th minute. Sven Grönlund kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Löddeköpinge's Gustav Ståhlberg tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alf Wennerquist got free with Bertil Strömqvist in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernt Valström in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bertil Strömqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bertil Strömqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Valström in the 63rd minute of play. Alf Wennerquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sten Vallengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Colin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Löddeköpinge booed when Sandsjöfors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Valström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bertil Strömqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alf Wennerquist in the 90th minute. Gustav Ståhlberg, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alf Wennerquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandsjöfors's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
