The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ivar Liljeström made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Ian Bergstedt sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Georg Fredriksson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivar Liljeström was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. With his leg Ivar Liljeström managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when AE ZaZ's Georg Fredriksson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 11th minute, Timmy Mikaelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Krydd's Magne Ek got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Georg Fredriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timmy Mikaelsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arman Ahlroth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After 22 minutes of play, FC Krydd's Timmy Mikaelsson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arman Ahlroth was left in no man's land by his defense there! 26 minutes into the match, FC Krydd's goalkeeper Ivar Liljeström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ian Bergstedt. 29 minutes into the game, Timmy Mikaelsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Krydd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AE ZaZ the free kick. In the 29th match minute, FC Krydd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmy Mikaelsson to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ian Bergstedt got free with Ivar Liljeström in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivar Liljeström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Georg Fredriksson made a kick off. Ivar Liljeström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georg Fredriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Krydd booed when AE ZaZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magnus Ekgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. AE ZaZ's Arman Ahlroth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save AE ZaZ from getting a goal against them. Ivar Liljeström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Fredriksson in the 83rd minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Krydd defense, Magnus Ekgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivar Liljeström. The FC Krydd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivar Liljeström should have stopped the shot. 95 minutes into the match, Georg Fredriksson notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of FC Krydd's Ivar Liljeström. Ivar Liljeström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ivar Liljeström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Bergstedt in the 98th minute of play. A collision led to FC Krydd getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Magne Ek hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AE ZaZ had won after a very even match.
