The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Löddeköpinge's Bertil Strömqvist got control of the ball when Ian Bergstedt tried to sneak it across the goal line. The AE ZaZ fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when AE ZaZ's Ian Bergstedt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 14 minutes, Ian Bergstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AE ZaZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ian Bergstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kristoffer Kjellqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Georg Fredriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Strömqvist having to interfere. Georg Fredriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Bertil Strömqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AE ZaZ's Georg Fredriksson got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Kristoffer Kjellqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arman Ahlroth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stefan Colin went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Kristoffer Kjellqvist made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Martin Liljeström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niclas Vestberg, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Colin got free with Arman Ahlroth in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Kristoffer Kjellqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Löddeköpinge's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristoffer Kjellqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arman Ahlroth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Georg Fredriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Löddeköpinge's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Fredriksson came free, but Bertil Strömqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Löddeköpinge getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Gustav Ståhlberg hit a great ball. Georg Fredriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Fredriksson in the 93rd minute of play forced Löddeköpinge's goalkeeper Bertil Strömqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ian Bergstedt struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Bertil Strömqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AE ZaZ. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Ian Bergstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. AE ZaZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ian Bergstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bertil Strömqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 97th minute, Georg Fredriksson made a precise shot to the right of Bertil Strömqvist. Löddeköpinge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. AE ZaZ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
