Bertil Tingberg's late challenge caught a Täby FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, BK Oves Hjältar's Bertil Tingberg got a free kick in the 4th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Täby FK's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Bäckman came free, but Tage Knutsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 minutes, Kenneth Hjortsberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BK Oves Hjältar and the Täby FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th match minute, BK Oves Hjältar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Hjortsberg to maneuver through the defense. Dan Bäckman succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After a rather tough play, BK Oves Hjältar's Bertil Tingberg got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 21 minutes of play, Täby FK's Jerry Ros made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Malte Stigsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! When BK Oves Hjältar's Dan Bäckman in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Täby FK's goalie prevented a goal. Tage Knutsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kenneth Hjortsberg in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind BK Oves Hjältar's goalkeeper Malte Stigsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Malte Stigsson came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Täby FK's Jerry Ros. But to his dismay, Jerry Ros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Kenneth Hjortsberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tage Knutsson. Täby FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kenneth Hjortsberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ture Eliasson got free with Malte Stigsson in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kenneth Hjortsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tage Knutsson having to interfere. Tage Knutsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenneth Hjortsberg in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Täby FK's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Bäckman came free, but Tage Knutsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BK Oves Hjältar were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Täby FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jon Brummer took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Elof Nordstedt heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. BK Oves Hjältar's Kenneth Hjortsberg got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 73 played minutes Täby FK got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Olof Jansson. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dan Bäckman in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tage Knutsson saved Täby FK from getting behind. 82 minutes into the match, Täby FK's goal looked a bit too open when Kenneth Hjortsberg came free, but Tage Knutsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tage Knutsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Bäckman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dan Bäckman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. BK Oves Hjältar's Kenneth Hjortsberg got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. BK Oves Hjältar were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
