Spectators: 7295 (Terracing: 5473, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 145) Ruda FF's Robin Holmgren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Täby FK's Tage Knutsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harald Bengtsson in the 4th minute of play. Jerry Ros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Morgan Fogel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joar Bergström kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After having played for 13 minutes, Robin Holmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ruda FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Holmgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jerry Ros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Ros in the 24th minute of play forced Ruda FF's goalkeeper Morgan Fogel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Täby FK's Tage Knutsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Holmgren in the 25th minute of play. Morgan Fogel was a little too slow when Jerry Ros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harald Bengtsson in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tage Knutsson saved Täby FK from getting behind. Ture Eliasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Joar Bergström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harald Bengtsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Jerry Ros made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ruda FF's goalkeeper Morgan Fogel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, Täby FK's Jerry Ros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Morgan Fogel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Ture Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ruda FF's zone, Jerry Ros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Morgan Fogel came out of the goal and Jerry Ros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Täby FK's Ture Eliasson in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ruda FF's goalie prevented a goal. 70 minutes into the match, Täby FK's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Holmgren came free, but Tage Knutsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruda FF's Morgan Fogel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ture Eliasson in the 74th minute of play. Tage Knutsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Holmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Harald Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 minutes, August Hult mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Täby FK and the Ruda FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, August Hult hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Täby FK's Ture Eliasson got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ture Eliasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jerry Ros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerry Ros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harald Bengtsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruda FF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
