Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rune Ström made the kick off which started today's match. 7 minutes into the match, Asklanda FK's goalkeeper Marko Bremming had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Knut Sjöberg. If Rune Ström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Båstad IF's Dag Wästerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Stål in the 10th minute of play. Dag Wästerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Wallman in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute Tim Wallman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dag Wästerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Josef Stål in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dag Wästerberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rune Ström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rune Ström struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Marko Bremming didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Båstad IF. Rune Ström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Knut Sjöberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Marko Bremming tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 minutes, Kenny Carlsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Asklanda FK and the Båstad IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kenny Carlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Båstad IF got a freekick which was hit by Jack Fagrell. Tim Wallman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dag Wästerberg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Ström in the 39th minute of play forced Asklanda FK's goalkeeper Marko Bremming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tim Wallman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Dag Wästerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Josef Stål stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Josef Stål might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dag Wästerberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josef Stål ran back to his position shaking his head. Knut Sjöberg struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Marko Bremming didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Båstad IF. Marko Bremming stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Knut Sjöberg's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 67 minutes into the match, Asklanda FK's goal looked a bit too open when Knut Sjöberg came free, but Marko Bremming reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tim Wallman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Dag Wästerberg made a huge save. The supporters of Asklanda FK booed when Båstad IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charlie Grelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josef Stål received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Dag Wästerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tim Wallman came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Asklanda FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tim Wallman couldn't finish the play. Marko Bremming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Sjöberg in the 79th minute of play. Marko Bremming took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Ström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 played minutes Båstad IF got a freekick which was hit by Jack Fagrell. Dag Wästerberg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 89th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alvar Holmstedt. If Knut Sjöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 103rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
