Måns Ahlström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernt Granqvist having to interfere. Töllsjö's Bernt Granqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Vikström in the 30th minute of play. Bernt Granqvist was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Krister Lundqvist. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Måns Ahlström got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Villiam Bodin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kurt Ahlin fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Töllsjö's protests and gave Kurt Ahlin a yellow card for diving instead. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, Hammarby's goalkeeper Hans Åström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Villiam Bodin. 73 minutes into the game, Jan Ödman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hans Åström. Jan Ödman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 80 minutes in the game, Villiam Bodin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hans Åström having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Måns Ahlström in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernt Granqvist saved Töllsjö from getting behind. Sven-Olof Ek was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Sven-Olof Ek kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. During the 85th minute of the match Kurt Ahlin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Kurt Ahlin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Töllsjö getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Kurt Ahlin hit a great ball. The attack was good, but when Daniel Vikström in the 88th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Vikström in the 90th minute of play forced Töllsjö's goalkeeper Bernt Granqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Måns Ahlström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Bernt Granqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Töllsjö players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
