Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Björbo BK's Leonard Bock started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Björbo BK's Emanuel Palmkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Ström in the 6th minute of play. Charlie Grelsson hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. If Leonard Bock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Båstad IF's goalkeeper Dag Wästerberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Ström in the 12th minute of play forced Björbo BK's goalkeeper Emanuel Palmkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dag Wästerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Bock in the 14th minute of play. Charlie Grelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Emanuel Palmkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Palmkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rune Ström, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The supporters of Båstad IF booed when Björbo BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Ahlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Rune Ström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emanuel Palmkvist. The goal made the score 1-0. Björbo BK's Emanuel Palmkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Ström in the 25th minute of play. Leonardo Ekström kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Knut Sjöberg in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emanuel Palmkvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Ström in the 30th minute of play forced Björbo BK's goalkeeper Emanuel Palmkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Leonard Bock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Båstad IF getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Charlie Grelsson hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute Mikael Persson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dag Wästerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Palmkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Ström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonard Bock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dag Wästerberg having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Björbo BK's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Ström came free, but Emanuel Palmkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

2-0 became the score in the 54th minute when Rune Ström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Mikael Persson notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Båstad IF's Dag Wästerberg. Dag Wästerberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 62nd match minute, Båstad IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Fagrell to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Björbo BK's goal looked a bit too open when Knut Sjöberg came free, but Emanuel Palmkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Rune Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Palmkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Knut Sjöberg struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Emanuel Palmkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Båstad IF. Rune Ström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Emanuel Palmkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Knut Sjöberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Palmkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Knut Sjöberg went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The referee gave Björbo BK a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Verner Almqvist, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Båstad IF's Dag Wästerberg. 3-2. Emanuel Palmkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Ström in the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Björbo BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tor Rudberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Båstad IF's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Båstad IF's Tor Rudberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Emanuel Palmkvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rune Ström might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Palmkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rune Ström ran back to his position shaking his head. Rune Ström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Palmkvist having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Båstad IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
