Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rune Ström made the kick off which started today's match. Båstad IF's Rune Ström got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonard Bock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Dag Wästerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Båstad IF's Jack Fagrell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Palmkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Knut Sjöberg struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Emanuel Palmkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Båstad IF. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Ström in the 20th minute of play forced Björbo BK's goalkeeper Emanuel Palmkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Knut Sjöberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Båstad IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Knut Sjöberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22ndth minute of the game Rune Ström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Björbo BK's Emanuel Palmkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th match minute, Båstad IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folke Ekegren to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Båstad IF getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jack Fagrell hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Båstad IF's Frans Säv got a free kick in the 29th minute. Mikael Persson struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Dag Wästerberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Björbo BK. In the 36th minute, Rune Ström made a precise shot to the right of Emanuel Palmkvist. Björbo BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Björbo BK!

Emanuel Palmkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Ström in the 56th minute of play. When Knut Sjöberg came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Båstad IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Knut Sjöberg couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Palmkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Ström in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Mikael Persson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Knut Sjöberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, Knut Sjöberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Båstad IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 76 minutes, Charlie Grelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Båstad IF and the Björbo BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th minute, Charlie Grelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Björbo BK's Verner Almqvist couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Båstad IF. Mikael Persson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charlie Grelsson hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Dag Wästerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Persson in the 82nd minute of the match. A collision led to Båstad IF getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Tor Rudberg hit a great ball. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Båstad IF's goalkeeper Dag Wästerberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gabriel Norberg's late challenge caught a Båstad IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Norberg helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Björbo BK getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Gabriel Norberg hit a great ball. Christer Brun kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Emanuel Palmkvist successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Båstad IF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
