Karl-Oskar Wiklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. William Vacker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Lundström in the 9th minute of play forced Gränden's goalkeeper Oliver Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gränden's Oliver Eckegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Lundström in the 10th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Jesper Smedfeldt sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gränden's Oliver Eckegren didn't even have to move. After 19 played minutes Gränden got a freekick which was hit by Vilhelm Back. Oliver Eckegren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ture Lennartsson's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Emil Kråk hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Kristian Lundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Oliver Eckegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gränden's Vilhelm Back got a free kick in the 27th minute. Jesper Smedfeldt was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Kristian Lundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ture Lennartsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Kristian Lundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the game, Leonard Andreasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gränden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave sala ff the free kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl-Oskar Wiklund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Karl-Oskar Wiklund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. William Vacker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 58th minute Gränden were awarded a corner. Gustaf Henriksson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Gustaf Henriksson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but sala ff's William Vacker did a great save. Oliver Eckegren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ture Lennartsson went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Ingvar Hökkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. William Vacker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathias Ahlstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Karl-Oskar Wiklund struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. William Vacker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gränden. With his leg Oliver Eckegren managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when sala ff's Ture Lennartsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of sala ff booed when Gränden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilhelm Back didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ture Lennartsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Oliver Eckegren made a huge save. Sixten Öfverman kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Kristian Lundström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oliver Eckegren. That made the score 1-3 in the 75 minute of play. In the 81st minute Kristian Lundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Eckegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ture Lennartsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. sala ff's Ture Lennartsson got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ingvar Hökkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd match minute, sala ff was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Anselius to maneuver through the defense.
