Spectators: 7286 (Terracing: 5467, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alf Arenius in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Björn Abelsson saved Blåviksjön from getting behind. Alf Arenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Björn Abelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 7 played minutes Blåviksjön got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Erik Forsberg. Björn Abelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Arenius in the 10th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Alf Arenius fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Glommen booed when Blåviksjön was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Lundin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blåviksjön's Björn Abelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Arenius in the 21st minute of play. Mark Lundin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sture Simonsson having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Blåviksjön's Per-Olof Pihlwall sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sture Simonsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Glommen's zone, Mark Lundin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sture Simonsson came out of the goal and Mark Lundin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sture Simonsson came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Blåviksjön's Per-Olof Pihlwall. But to his dismay, Per-Olof Pihlwall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alf Arenius made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mark Lundin got free with Sture Simonsson in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mark Lundin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sture Simonsson having to make a save. Kjell Glad hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Ove Rudqvist during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Glommen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvar Landin to maneuver through the defense. Sivert Granström kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blåviksjön's goalkeeper Björn Abelsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Glommen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rolf Håkansson in the 89th minute. Sture Simonsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Olof Pihlwall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Blåviksjön eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
