Christian Klint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Bruhn struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Arvid Ahlfors didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sköllersta. After a rather tough play, Bromölla BF's Ludwig Gunnarsson got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Alexander Wassenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Palm in the 22nd minute of play forced Bromölla BF's goalkeeper Arvid Ahlfors to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Robin Forsberg came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Sköllersta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Forsberg couldn't finish the play. Christian Klint stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrik Kämpe's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Sköllersta getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Simon Palm hit a great ball. Christian Klint took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Kämpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sköllersta's Alexander Wassenius got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 47 minutes, Bror Lundström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bromölla BF and the Sköllersta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valdemar Svanström shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
