Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Malmö's Alexander Billberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 14th minute, Stig Bäcklin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Malmö's goalkeeper Joseph Olsmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Joseph Olsmann managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Gräsmyr RK's Ian Björnsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gabriel Damm kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Lennart Ödman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joseph Olsmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 28th match minute, Malmö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrik Nilsson to maneuver through the defense. Malmö's Joseph Olsmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Ödman in the 31st minute of play. Ian Björnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Olsmann having to interfere. Gräsmyr RK's attack was well implemented in the 46th minute, but when Ian Björnsson was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute of the match Emanuel Löfgren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joseph Olsmann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joseph Olsmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Ödman in the 54th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ian Björnsson in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joseph Olsmann saved Malmö from getting behind. 63 minutes into the match, Malmö's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Björnsson came free, but Joseph Olsmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ian Björnsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joseph Olsmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ian Björnsson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 64th minute, Lennart Ödman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gräsmyr RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Lennart Ödman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute Lennart Ödman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Olsmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lennart Ödman came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Gräsmyr RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennart Ödman couldn't finish the play. After 79 minutes of play, Gräsmyr RK's Ian Björnsson made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joseph Olsmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the match, Malmö's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Björnsson came free, but Joseph Olsmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85th play minutes Lennart Ödman shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Joseph Olsmann and just under the crossbar into goal. Lennart Ödman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Olsmann having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lennart Ödman in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joseph Olsmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Björnsson in the 92nd minute of play forced Malmö's goalkeeper Joseph Olsmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Gräsmyr RK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
