Lennart Wenerdahl charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lennart Wenerdahl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th minute, Lennart Wenerdahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th match minute, Storå was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Berglund to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Nacka Rangers's Allan Rolandsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emil Nyman. That made the score 2-0 after 24 minutes of play. Max Snell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emil Nyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Rolandsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mats Viberg during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Nacka Rangers booed when Storå was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Viberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Allan Rolandsson was the one to do the kick off. Jan Lindström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Nacka Rangers's Johan Ahlqvist got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 60th minute, Daniel Berglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lennart Wenerdahl hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Jan Hylander acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 63rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Stellan Isaksson. Nacka Rangers's Jan Hylander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Viberg in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Tommy Alebäck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nacka Rangers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Storå the free kick. 73 minutes into the game, one of Nacka Rangers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Emil Nyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Rolandsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If Mats Viberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nacka Rangers's Allan Rolandsson in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Storå's goalie prevented a goal. There was no doubt that Nacka Rangers were the better team. Nacka Rangers's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
