Spectators: 6855 (Terracing: 5110, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Börje Petersson kicked off to start the match. In the 9th minute, Fårbo FK's Börje Petersson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carl Björklund. Sture Hellström scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bertil Nordkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Sakarias Östensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24thth minute of the game Börje Petersson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Staffanstorps GIF's Carl Björklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute William Tingberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertil Nordkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börje Petersson in the 32nd minute of play forced Staffanstorps GIF's goalkeeper Carl Björklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sakarias Östensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Börje Petersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sakarias Östensson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Carl Björklund made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when William Tingberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carl Björklund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Börje Petersson's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Sakarias Östensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Björklund having to interfere. If Sture Hellström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sören Löfskog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. William Tingberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carl Björklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börje Petersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Sakarias Östensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Björklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Staffanstorps GIF's Sture Hellström got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Sture Hellström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
