Sakarias Östensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jens Andreasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börje Petersson in the 24th minute of play forced Stockholm's goalkeeper Jens Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Frank Lundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Börje Petersson in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens Andreasson saved Stockholm from getting behind. Stockholm's Jens Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Petersson in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute Sakarias Östensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Stockholm defense, Börje Petersson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jens Andreasson. The Stockholm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jens Andreasson should have stopped the shot. Sakarias Östensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Andreasson having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wictor Nyman was the one to do the kick off. When Christoffer Wallman fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stockholm's protests and gave Christoffer Wallman a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes Stockholm got a freekick which was hit by Christoffer Wallman. Börje Petersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Stockholm's zone, Sakarias Östensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens Andreasson came out of the goal and Sakarias Östensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, Stockholm's goalkeeper Jens Andreasson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sakarias Östensson. Jens Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Petersson in the 94th minute of play. Jens Andreasson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sakarias Östensson went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The Stockholm fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fårbo FK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
