Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Matthias Törnqvist got the match started through his kick off. Bo Holmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Lönn having to interfere. Vilgot Fernström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Pihl in the 5th minute of play. Bo Holmgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rune Högman fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borås FK's protests and gave Rune Högman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, Borås FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Högman to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Borås FK's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Törnqvist came free, but Vilgot Fernström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Borås FK's Wiktor Bröms got a free kick in the 13th minute. Wictor Rosin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vilgot Fernström. Borås FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vilgot Fernström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Törnqvist in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Kim Pihl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilgot Fernström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joakim Sander hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Denka Boys's Anton Lönn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Denka Boys from getting a goal against them. If Bo Holmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Denka Boys's Anton Lönn got control of the ball when Esbjörn Larsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bo Holmgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Anton Lönn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wiktor Bröms blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anton Lönn having to make a save. In the 40th minute of the match, Bo Holmgren got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anton Lönn was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Denka Boys's zone, Wiktor Bröms stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Lönn came out of the goal and Wiktor Bröms tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Wiktor Bröms hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bo Holmgren made a kick off. Vilgot Fernström made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Kim Pihl sent off a good shot on target. 54 minutes into the match, Kim Pihl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vilgot Fernström. Borås FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kim Pihl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 61st minute, Matthias Törnqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anton Lönn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Holmgren in the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Denka Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Esbjörn Larsson came free, but Anton Lönn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Lönn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Holmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the game, Göran Runberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Denka Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borås FK the free kick. Göran Runberg kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The supporters of Borås FK booed when Denka Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göran Runberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Esbjörn Larsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borås FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esbjörn Larsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bo Holmgren took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anton Lönn. Anton Lönn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Måns Vallman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anton Lönn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Holmgren in the 89th minute of play. Vilgot Fernström didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 90th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. With a little luck, Borås FK's Vilgot Fernström got control of the ball when Kim Pihl tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th minute, Wiktor Bröms hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Although Borås FK had been in control for most of the match, Denka Boys still came away with the win.
