Spectators: 7253 (Terracing: 5441, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 144) Ransäter FK's Viggo Bergman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Ransäter FK booed when Denka Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicklas Groth didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kim Pihl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Matthias Törnqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Viggo Bergman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ransäter FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Viggo Bergman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Lönn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ransäter FK's Calle Bredberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Ransäter FK from getting a goal against them. Anton Lönn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viggo Bergman in the 21st minute of play. Calle Bredberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Törnqvist in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Kim Pihl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Calle Bredberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Kim Pihl's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Calle Bredberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Matthias Törnqvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Calle Bredberg. That made the score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matthias Törnqvist was the one to do the kick off. When Ronny Ekegren came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Ransäter FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronny Ekegren couldn't finish the play. In the last second Anton Lönn throw himself and got hold of the ball when Viggo Bergman in the 57thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Calle Bredberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Pihl in the 60th minute of play. When Ronny Ekegren came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Ransäter FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronny Ekegren couldn't finish the play. When Ralf Tunander fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Denka Boys's protests and gave Ralf Tunander a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ransäter FK booed when Denka Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Tunander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronny Ekegren came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anton Lönn could save by the left post. Kim Pihl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Kim Pihl notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Ransäter FK's Calle Bredberg. Calle Bredberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ransäter FK's Calle Bredberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Törnqvist in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Hampus Kilman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matthias Törnqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Calle Bredberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Matthias Törnqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Calle Bredberg was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. 93 minutes into the match, Denka Boys's Matthias Törnqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Calle Bredberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Calle Bredberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Törnqvist in the 95th minute of the match. Matthias Törnqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Calle Bredberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Denka Boys fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ransäter FK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
