Stockans FC's Sune Skog got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Gert Britz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th match minute, Stockans FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Arne Liljeström to maneuver through the defense. Adam Jansson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Viggo Bergman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Stig Biörkquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Ronny Ekegren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ransäter FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronny Ekegren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stig Biörkquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stockans FC's Stig Biörkquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Stockans FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sune Skog in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Calle Bredberg saved Ransäter FK from getting behind.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viggo Bergman to strike the kick off in the second half. Gert Britz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calle Bredberg having to interfere. Ronny Ekegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Biörkquist having to interfere. Ransäter FK's Calle Bredberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sune Skog in the 64th minute of play. Tommy Kilberg's late challenge caught a Stockans FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommy Kilberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Stockans FC booed when Ransäter FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Kilberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Stockans FC's Sune Skog ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Calle Bredberg. Calle Bredberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Calle Bredberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sune Skog, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. If Sune Skog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calle Bredberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sune Skog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Stockans FC's zone, Ronny Ekegren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig Biörkquist came out of the goal and Ronny Ekegren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd match minute, Stockans FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rutger Berglund to maneuver through the defense. Ronny Ekegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig Biörkquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viggo Bergman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronny Ekegren in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig Biörkquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stockans FC's Stig Biörkquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viggo Bergman in the 88th minute of play. When Ronny Ekegren came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Ransäter FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronny Ekegren couldn't finish the play. Sixten Anundsson kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Ronny Ekegren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ransäter FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronny Ekegren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stig Biörkquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Ransäter FK were the better team. Ransäter FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
