In the 11th minute of the match Sören Forssell sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stig Biörkquist skillfully saved the ball. In the 13th minute Emanuel Dalgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Biörkquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sune Skog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Näshulta's goalkeeper Henning Olsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gert Britz. Leif Ersman hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Sune Skog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig Biörkquist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anton Johansson went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 25th minute, Rutger Berglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 minutes, Anton Johansson made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Stockans FC's Stig Biörkquist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Stockans FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Johansson came free, but Stig Biörkquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Rutger Berglund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stockans FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Näshulta the free kick. After 43 played minutes Stockans FC got a freekick which was hit by Rutger Berglund. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sune Skog to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Näshulta's Jakob Sillén got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Rune Allbom sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Näshulta's Henning Olsson didn't even have to move. Stig Biörkquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Johansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Anton Johansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Rutger Berglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stig Biörkquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Johansson in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stockans FC's goalkeeper Stig Biörkquist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Johansson in the 71st minute of play forced Stockans FC's goalkeeper Stig Biörkquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Näshulta's Jan-Olof Påk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stig Biörkquist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jan-Olof Påk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stig Biörkquist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Jan-Olof Påk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Stig Biörkquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert Britz in the 80th minute of play forced Näshulta's goalkeeper Henning Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig Biörkquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Johansson in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute Emanuel Dalgren suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. During the 84th minute of the match Rutger Berglund completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rutger Berglund a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Näshulta made a substitution. Alvar Brolin replaced Emanuel Dalgren. After 85 played minutes Stockans FC got a freekick which was hit by Rutger Berglund. Leif Ersman might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stig Biörkquist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leif Ersman ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Anton Johansson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Näshulta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
