Degerhamn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sonny Käller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Degerhamn's goalkeeper Michael Ahlrot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kim Pihl. 11 minutes into the match, Denka Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Sonny Käller came free, but Anton Lönn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Sonny Käller put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Anton Lönn. Matthias Törnqvist hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. A collision led to Degerhamn getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Sonny Käller hit a great ball. Anton Lönn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sonny Käller in the 22nd minute of play. Anton Lönn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sonny Käller in the 27th minute of the match. Jon Magnusson took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anton Lönn. Anton Lönn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sonny Käller in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Lönn saved Denka Boys from getting behind. Anton Lönn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jon Magnusson went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Denka Boys defense, Jon Magnusson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anton Lönn. The Denka Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anton Lönn should have stopped the shot. Emanuel Harman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sonny Käller to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Denka Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Back came free, but Anton Lönn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sonny Käller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Anton Lönn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kjell Lundström during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sonny Käller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Lönn having to interfere. Göran Runberg kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. When Viggo Björkdal came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Degerhamn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viggo Björkdal couldn't finish the play. Bengt-Åke Valler's late challenge caught a Denka Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt-Åke Valler helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, Degerhamn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Åke Valler to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the game, one of Denka Boys:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Michael Ahlrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Törnqvist in the 82nd minute of play. If Jon Magnusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sonny Käller scored 0-7 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anton Lönn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Denka Boys's zone, Sonny Käller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Lönn came out of the goal and Sonny Käller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Jon Magnusson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Degerhamn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jon Magnusson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Denka Boys fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Degerhamn were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
