Rutger Berglund charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rutger Berglund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Björna FK's Gustav Gallin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 11th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Lukas Hagström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stig Biörkquist. Stockans FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Thomas Algren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albin Fågel's late challenge caught a Stockans FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albin Fågel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd minute of the match Rune Allbom shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joseph Hedlund showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Stockans FC's Gert Britz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joseph Hedlund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Sune Skog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite this Joseph Hedlund quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The tension between the Björna FK and the Stockans FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Björna FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Magnus Högman to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Rune Allbom from long distance, 58 minutes into the match, got Joseph Hedlund's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 62 minutes into the match, Stockans FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Gallin came free, but Stig Biörkquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Björna FK's Gustav Gallin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stig Biörkquist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gert Britz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
