But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Nyberg couldn't finish the play. Lofsdalen's Jon Odin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Salqvist in the 58th minute of play. Tim Fredriksson placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Sture Strömbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rutger Lenberg having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Jukkasjärvi's zone, Pål Blanck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rutger Lenberg came out of the goal and Pål Blanck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Lofsdalen's Felix Skröder got a free kick in the 75th minute. The supporters of Lofsdalen booed when Jukkasjärvi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torbjörn Walroth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Salqvist scored 0-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jon Odin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 97th minute, Jan Salqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rutger Lenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pål Blanck's shot from short distance in the 99th minute. The Jukkasjärvi players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Lofsdalen from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
