After 4 played minutes, GAME's Martin Carlsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jens Söderquist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GAME reached it. 6 minutes into the match, Förslöv IF's goal looked a bit too open when Örjan Blomqvist came free, but Jens Söderquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Förslöv IF's Jens Söderquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell Hökkvist in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Hökkvist in the 17th minute of play forced Förslöv IF's goalkeeper Jens Söderquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Förslöv IF's goal looked a bit too open when Örjan Blomqvist came free, but Jens Söderquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Förslöv IF's Tommy Pettersson got a free kick in the 19th minute. GAME's Per Eriksson got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee showed Mathias Esbjörnsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th minute, Mathias Esbjörnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Per Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Förslöv IF's Jens Söderquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell Hökkvist in the 44th minute of play. Kjell Hökkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tommy Pettersson to make the kick off. If Kjell Hökkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of GAME booed when Förslöv IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Pettersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Kjell Hökkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GAME's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kjell Hökkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kjell Hökkvist had several of the Förslöv IF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 60 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Jens Söderquist as he didn't even see the shot coming. Tommy Pettersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th of the match, Kjell Hökkvist tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Jens Söderquist got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 70th minute, GAME's Kjell Hökkvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Kjell Hökkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jens Söderquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per Eriksson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Jens Söderquist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 78 minutes into the match, Kjell Hökkvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jens Söderquist, 0-4. In the 81st play minute Per Eriksson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jens Söderquist. 0-5. 84 minutes into the match, Förslöv IF's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Hökkvist came free, but Jens Söderquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Per Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kjell Hökkvist came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the GAME fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kjell Hökkvist couldn't finish the play. Kjell Hökkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
