Förslöv IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jukkasjärvi the free kick. In the 5th match minute, Förslöv IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Ryberg to maneuver through the defense. Mattias Nyberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathias Esbjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Rutger Lenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jukkasjärvi's Rutger Lenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Esbjörnsson in the 18th minute of play. When Mattias Nyberg fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jukkasjärvi's protests and gave Mattias Nyberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Jukkasjärvi getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Mattias Nyberg hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Förslöv IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mattias Nyberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jan Salqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Jukkasjärvi's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Esbjörnsson came free, but Rutger Lenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Mathias Esbjörnsson made a precise shot to the right of Rutger Lenberg. Jukkasjärvi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Mattias Nyberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Söderquist having to interfere. If Jan Salqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens Söderquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Nyberg in the 39th minute of the match. If Mattias Nyberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tommy Pettersson made the kick off in the second half. Förslöv IF's Mathias Esbjörnsson got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Jan Salqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
