Per Ström was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Kurt Brun capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kurt Brun really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Nås's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Krister Sjöberg 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. Greger Hagström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommy Nordström's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 28th match minute, BK Stolpskott was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sören Rydelius to maneuver through the defense. If Arne Hjortsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Sören Rydelius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per Ström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sören Rydelius in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sören Rydelius to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, BK Stolpskott's goalkeeper Greger Hagström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tom Österlund. Arne Hjortsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nås's Per Ström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Lindholm in the 54th minute of play. In the 56thth minute of the game Tommy Nordström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BK Stolpskott's Greger Hagström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 57 minutes, Kjell Hammarström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BK Stolpskott and the Nås players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Nås booed when BK Stolpskott was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Hammarström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Tommy Nordström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greger Hagström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the BK Stolpskott defense, Tommy Nordström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Greger Hagström. The BK Stolpskott fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Greger Hagström should have stopped the shot. After having played for 91 minutes, Tom Österlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nås's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Österlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Tommy Nordström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nås's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommy Nordström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Greger Hagström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustaf Ekerot kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The BK Stolpskott support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
