Christian Blomqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakob Hedling in the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Stig Stenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Blomqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Storlien BF's Allan Nässén tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Jakob Hedling managed to get in a good position for a shot. Storlien BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jakob Hedling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Blomqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jakob Hedling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Blomqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Stenberg in the 18th minute of the match. Christian Blomqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakob Hedling in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Storlien BF getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Dan Lund hit a great ball. When Melker Linberg came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Ljungby IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melker Linberg couldn't finish the play. Michael Frisk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melker Linberg in the 40th minute of play. Jan Rosin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Michael Frisk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Ljungby IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Stenberg came free, but Christian Blomqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Melker Linberg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Stig Stenberg came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Storlien BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig Stenberg couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melker Linberg to make the kick off. Henry Högberg kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, Jan Rosin notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Storlien BF's Michael Frisk. Michael Frisk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jakob Hedling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Christian Blomqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael Frisk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Rosin in the 60th minute of the match. After 64 minutes of play, Ljungby IFK's Jan Rosin made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michael Frisk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jakob Hedling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jakob Hedling in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Blomqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75th minute, Jan Rosin made a precise shot to the right of Michael Frisk. Storlien BF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After having played for 82 minutes, Jan Rosin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ljungby IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Rosin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute Melker Linberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Frisk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig Stenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Blomqvist having to interfere. Jakob Hedling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Blomqvist having to interfere. Christian Blomqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Hedling, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Storlien BF's Stig Stenberg got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Many of Storlien BF's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Storlien BF may have spent more time on the ball, but Ljungby IFK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
