Bengt-Arne Soned came out of the goal and Aaron Strömberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31stth minute of the game Erik Kjellqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bagdad Café FC's Bengt-Arne Soned was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Erik Kjellqvist came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Östansjö RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Kjellqvist couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Bagdad Café FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Östansjö RK:s goal.
