The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anton Pååk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urban Glanselius couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Monkeyboys's Ingvar Vassenius got a free kick in the 81st minute. Per-Åke Björklund, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rickard Bennet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Pååk in the 87th minute of the match. Anton Pååk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Anton Pååk notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Grebbestad FK's Rickard Bennet. Rickard Bennet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Grebbestad FK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Monkeyboys.
