Mårten Siöberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the game, GJILANI KS's Robert Larsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mårten Siöberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Mårten Siöberg came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by GJILANI KS's Rolf Lind. But to his dismay, Rolf Lind quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Rolf Lind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Mårten Siöberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Walter Ekenberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Oskarström RK's Mårten Siöberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Oskarström RK from getting a goal against them. Mårten Siöberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsten Törnkvist in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Torsten Törnkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mårten Siöberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Per-Olof Lundström during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Per-Olof Lundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oskarström RK's Mårten Siöberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Törnkvist in the 96th minute of play. Rolf Lind could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Mårten Siöberg made a huge save. GJILANI KS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
