After 11 minutes, Per-Åke Jönsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Joeystyle and the GJILANI KS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Per-Åke Jönsson kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Torsten Törnkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Torsten Törnkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to GJILANI KS getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Torsten Törnkvist hit a great ball. Kjell Norberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamin Rosén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Johan Näver in the 17th minute of play. If Kjell Norberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Karl-Johan Näver reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benjamin Rosén. The goal made the score 1-0. Benjamin Rosén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Johan Näver, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A collision led to FC Joeystyle getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Brian Berggren hit a great ball. Torsten Törnkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell-Arne Nilsson having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Rolf Lind managed to get in a good position for a shot. GJILANI KS's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolf Lind was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kjell-Arne Nilsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 44 minutes of play, GJILANI KS's Rolf Lind made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kjell-Arne Nilsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torsten Törnkvist made a kick off. In the 54th minute Kjell Norberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Rosén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjell Norberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Benjamin Rosén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Joeystyle's Kjell-Arne Nilsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save FC Joeystyle from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Norberg in the 85th minute of play forced GJILANI KS's goalkeeper Benjamin Rosén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Karl-Johan Näver had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamin Rosén. GJILANI KS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Johan Näver was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. FC Joeystyle's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
