After 23 played minutes Alnarp got a freekick which was hit by Fritz Gustafsson. Walter Carlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Fristedt in the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to Alnarp getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Alexander Pilblad hit a great ball. In the 27th minute of the match Karl-Åke Lindkvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Walter Carlsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 28th match minute, Alnarp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Edvin Alfors to maneuver through the defense. Frank Holmberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Fristedt in the 36th minute of play forced Alnarp's goalkeeper Walter Carlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Oliver Kullander fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alnarp's protests and gave Oliver Kullander a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Veggies VV's Eric Fristedt got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Frank Holmberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johan Sigfridsson having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Johan Sigfridsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ingemar Edström was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Veggies VV's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Pilblad came free, but Johan Sigfridsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Alnarp fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Alnarp's Frank Holmberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Holmberg in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johan Sigfridsson saved Veggies VV from getting behind. Walter Carlsson made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Ingemar Edström sent off a good shot on target. Olof Åkesson's late challenge caught a Alnarp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olof Åkesson helped the player get up and apologised. Frank Holmberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johan Sigfridsson came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Alnarp's Fritz Gustafsson. But to his dismay, Fritz Gustafsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to Veggies VV getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Pär Hult hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Walter Carlsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Alnarp getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Alexander Pilblad hit a great ball. Dan Västerstrand kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Alnarp support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
