The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Glömsta BK booed when Jämjö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingemar Österberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven Östman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfons Jonasson having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Valentin Drewitz made a precise shot to the right of Melker Qvarnström. Jämjö's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Glömsta BK's Valentin Drewitz in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jämjö's goalie prevented a goal. After 15 played minutes Jämjö got a freekick which was hit by Arvid Igelström. Melker Qvarnström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Drewitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Valentin Drewitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melker Qvarnström. Jämjö's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Drewitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sune Abrahamsson in the 28th minute of play forced Jämjö's goalkeeper Melker Qvarnström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Jämjö's zone, Valentin Drewitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melker Qvarnström came out of the goal and Valentin Drewitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gunnar Skoog kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Melker Qvarnström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sune Abrahamsson in the 46th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jämjö's Arvid Igelström got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute Valentin Drewitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melker Qvarnström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Glömsta BK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven Östman made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Jämjö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunnar Skoog to maneuver through the defense. Ingemar Österberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 60 minutes into the match, Jämjö's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Drewitz came free, but Melker Qvarnström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 played minutes Jämjö got a freekick which was hit by Sixten Spets. Sune Abrahamsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melker Qvarnström having to interfere. In the 67thth minute of the game Valentin Drewitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jämjö's Melker Qvarnström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valentin Drewitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Melker Qvarnström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Drewitz succeeded in the game's 72nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. 80 minutes into the match, Jämjö's goalkeeper Melker Qvarnström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rune Ahlroht. Jämjö's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Valentin Drewitz scored to the left of an out of position Melker Qvarnström, making the score, 0-4. 90 minutes into the match, Jämjö's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Drewitz came free, but Melker Qvarnström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Glömsta BK's Melker Qvarnström threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Valentin Drewitz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Glömsta BK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
