Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Åke Hernström in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Ahlqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Åke Hernström in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Ahlqvist saved Ninjas In Pyjamas from getting behind. In the 12th minute, Henrik Sellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Christer Hammarström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrik Sellberg during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes Ninjas In Pyjamas got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Sellberg. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Ninjas In Pyjamas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Väddö:s goal. Ninjas In Pyjamas:s David Ahlqvist showed great skill when he stopped Sebastian Ånger:s penalty. If George Sjöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Ninjas In Pyjamas booed when Väddö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Verner Valström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ninjas In Pyjamas's Isak Ivarsson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Väddö. George Sjöberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Anundsson having to interfere. In the 38th minute George Sjöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Anundsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Verner Valström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience cheered loudly when Isak Ivarsson's long shot in the 43rd minute became 1-1 when the ball went to the left of and passed Gilbert Anundsson. Alf Knutsson kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Åke Hernström's late challenge caught a Ninjas In Pyjamas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Åke Hernström helped the player get up and apologised. Åke Hernström hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. In the 50th minute of the match Isak Ivarsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilbert Anundsson skillfully saved the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christer Hammarström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Christer Hammarström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Väddö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christer Hammarström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henrik Sellberg kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 60th minute, but David Ahlqvist got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Ninjas In Pyjamas hanging dry this time. The supporters of Väddö booed when Ninjas In Pyjamas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Sellberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 minutes of play, Ninjas In Pyjamas's George Sjöberg made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilbert Anundsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Torgny Åberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. During the 76th minute of the match Henrik Sellberg completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Henrik Sellberg a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 77 played minutes Ninjas In Pyjamas got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Sellberg. 79 minutes into the match, Christer Hammarström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of David Ahlqvist, 2-2. Torgny Åberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute George Sjöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Anundsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torgny Åberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Anundsson having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
