Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hans Malmgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Jonasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Nordlander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Morat, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Blentarp IFK's Daniel Nordlander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Morat in the 14th minute of play. Thomas Morat scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Nordlander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Morat in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Nordlander saved Blentarp IFK from getting behind. Thomas Morat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Charlie Almqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Nordlander having to interfere. Dick Josefsson kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. A collision led to Blentarp IFK getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Lars Jonasson hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Blentarp IFK's zone, Charlie Almqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Nordlander came out of the goal and Charlie Almqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hans Malmgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dick Josefsson in the 36th minute. Charlie Almqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Nordlander having to interfere. Thomas Morat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, FC Kuttle's Hans Malmgren got control of the ball when Lars Jonasson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th minute, Blentarp IFK's Lars Jonasson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Thomas Morat made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Thomas Morat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Nordlander was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Blentarp IFK's Daniel Nordlander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Morat in the 56th minute of play. In the 87th minute Dick Josefsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Malmgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Dan Lövgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the game, Blentarp IFK's Lars-Erik Dahlquist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hans Malmgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After 95 played minutes FC Kuttle got a freekick which was hit by Kjell-Arne Tunander. Despite being the better team, Blentarp IFK failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
