Inge Kjellqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Qvalfeldt having to interfere. Inge Kjellqvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Josef Qvalfeldt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 49 minutes, Niklas Vidman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niklas Vidman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victor Sundling to strike the kick off in the second half. Evert Pilblad's late challenge caught a FC Pungspark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evert Pilblad helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Liverpool FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Evert Pilblad hit a great ball. Liverpool FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
