Spectators: 7304 (Terracing: 5479, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Christian Ennegren took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 10thth minute of the game Sonny Månsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Månstad's Ture Gulliksson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A nice corner shot did that Georg Danielsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ture Gulliksson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sven-Åke Sundin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yngve Haström in the 14th minute. Konrad Kiempe hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Sven-Åke Sundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Ennegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Yngve Haström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Månstad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With an all-out effort, Månstad's Sven-Åke Sundin threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Christian Ennegren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Carl Larsfält charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carl Larsfält the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Tidan. Georg Danielsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ture Gulliksson. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Richard Bjursell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tidan's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Bjursell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ture Gulliksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Georg Danielsson in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ture Gulliksson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Christian Ennegren came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Månstad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Ennegren couldn't finish the play. Georg Danielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ture Gulliksson having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Georg Danielsson made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Sonny Månsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tidan's supporters rose to their feet, but Sonny Månsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ture Gulliksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sonny Månsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Ture Gulliksson made a huge save. Ture Gulliksson stood somewhat misplaced when Georg Danielsson came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 62 minute. Sonny Månsson kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Yngve Haström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Sven-Åke Sundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per-Erik Bocklund kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 75th play minute Sonny Månsson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ture Gulliksson. 1-3. Frank Billing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ture Gulliksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ture Gulliksson made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Frank Billing sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot by Frank Billing from long distance, 93 minutes into the match, got Ture Gulliksson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ture Gulliksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Danielsson in the 95th minute of play.
