In the 6thth minute of the game Simon Stensson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hallen's Oskar Kruse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 8th match minute, Hallen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rickard Backman to maneuver through the defense. Stig-Åke Bergqvist's late challenge caught a Hallen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig-Åke Bergqvist helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Hudiksvall got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Åke Bergqvist. Vidar Bålström kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Oskar Kruse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Bergqvist in the 16th minute of play. Stig-Åke Bergqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simon Stensson in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oskar Kruse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Stig-Åke Bergqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Hallen's Oskar Kruse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Hallen from getting a goal against them. Orvar Lundqvist hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When Hallen's Rickard Backman in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hudiksvall's goalie prevented a goal. Simon Stensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Kruse having to interfere. Oskar Kruse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stig-Åke Bergqvist's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Simon Stensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Oskar Kruse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Hallen defense, Simon Stensson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oskar Kruse. The Hallen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oskar Kruse should have stopped the shot. Hudiksvall's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
