In the 13th minute Nils-Erik Rudberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Carlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rickard Delin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Rickard Delin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boris Hylander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Carlsson having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Boris Hylander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Håkan Carlsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 32nd minute, Andreas Melberg made a precise shot to the right of Håkan Carlsson. Norrtälje FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Rickard Delin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Håkan Carlsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Håkan Carlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickard Delin in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Ulf Bengtsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glorius Bastards's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulf Bengtsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Norrtälje FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Delin came free, but Håkan Carlsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rickard Delin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Håkan Carlsson was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Hylander in the 48th minute of play forced Norrtälje FC's goalkeeper Håkan Carlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

54 minutes into the match, Rickard Delin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Håkan Carlsson. In the 68th match minute, Norrtälje FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Thidén to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Boris Hylander kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Håkan Carlsson. That made the score 0-6 in the 79 minute of play. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Norrtälje FC's goalkeeper Håkan Carlsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nils-Erik Rudberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Håkan Carlsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Boris Hylander made a precise shot to the right of Håkan Carlsson. Norrtälje FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Norrtälje FC's Håkan Carlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Hylander in the 94th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Norrtälje FC's zone, Rickard Delin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håkan Carlsson came out of the goal and Rickard Delin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Glorius Bastards's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
