Tobias Levander was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Svante Smitt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Borre in the 17th minute of play. In the 22ndth minute of the game Gösta Tinglöf who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garphyttan's Tobias Levander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edward Vacker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Tobias Levander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobias Levander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Tinglöf, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Edward Vacker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garphyttan's Tobias Levander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Tinglöf in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Garphyttan's Nils-Åke Gregersson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Gösta Tinglöf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Levander having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Garphyttan's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vacker came free, but Tobias Levander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garphyttan's Tobias Levander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Tinglöf in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Säve BF's Edward Vacker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tobias Levander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Säve BF's Svante Smitt got control of the ball when Nils-Åke Gregersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gunnar Borre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tobias Levander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vacker in the 54th minute of play. Tobias Levander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Vacker's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. If Edward Vacker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gösta Tinglöf struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Tobias Levander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Säve BF. A hard shot 72 in the game by Gösta Tinglöf from a close distance when the talented Tobias Levander managed to make a qualified save. Garphyttan's players were relieved. With a little luck, Garphyttan's Tobias Levander got control of the ball when Gösta Tinglöf tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gösta Tinglöf got free with Tobias Levander in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the game, Richard Lindsten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Säve BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garphyttan the free kick. After 81 played minutes Säve BF got a freekick which was hit by Richard Lindsten. After a rather tough play, Garphyttan's Tor Giliusson got a free kick in the 85th minute. 87 minutes in the game, Gösta Tinglöf fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tobias Levander having to interfere. If Gösta Tinglöf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Levander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vacker, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When Säve BF's Edward Vacker in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Garphyttan's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Edward Vacker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Levander was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Säve BF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
