Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edward Vacker started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute of the game Joel Lindgren made a throw-in which Örjan Ekström played forward. In the 4th minute, Sven Hafström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AIK Stockholm fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 7th minute Krister Finnman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svante Smitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Vacker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sivert Alfors having to make a save. Säve BF's Gösta Tinglöf got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Einar Berglund kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, AIK Stockholm's Sven Hafström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Svante Smitt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Gösta Tinglöf struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Sivert Alfors didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Säve BF. Gösta Tinglöf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Sivert Alfors made a huge save. One of AIK Stockholm:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Säve BF:s goal. Svante Smitt made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Krister Finnman sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Säve BF's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Hafström came free, but Svante Smitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sivert Alfors stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Vacker's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Edward Vacker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Edward Vacker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sivert Alfors was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Gösta Tinglöf blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sivert Alfors having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Gösta Tinglöf's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sivert Alfors was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Gösta Tinglöf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 101st minute there was a penalty for Säve BF. Richard Lindsten stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sivert Alfors. 3-2. Säve BF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
