Tobias Levander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When Ture Västerstrand fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garphyttan's protests and gave Ture Västerstrand a yellow card for diving instead. Sven Hafström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gunnar Borre in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sivert Alfors prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes into the match, Garphyttan's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Hafström came free, but Tobias Levander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sven Hafström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 minutes of play AIK Stockholm's Oskar Öberg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Garphyttan's Ivan Olsson got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sivert Alfors showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Borre in the 92nd minute of the match. Garphyttan's Tobias Levander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Garphyttan from getting a goal against them. If Ivan Olsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
