Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Edward Vacker made the kick off and thus started the match. If Gösta Tinglöf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute Edward Vacker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Levander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gösta Tinglöf got free with Tobias Levander in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute Viggo Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svante Smitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gösta Tinglöf took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobias Levander. Tobias Levander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Säve BF's Gösta Tinglöf sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tobias Levander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ture Västerstrand charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ture Västerstrand the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Säve BF booed when Garphyttan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ture Västerstrand didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 played minutes, Garphyttan's Tim Burman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Svante Smitt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Garphyttan reached it. After 30 played minutes Garphyttan got a freekick which was hit by Tor Giliusson. After some careless play in the Säve BF defense, Ivan Olsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Svante Smitt. The Säve BF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Svante Smitt should have stopped the shot. When Edward Vacker came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Säve BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Vacker couldn't finish the play. Tobias Levander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vacker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Edward Vacker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Levander having to interfere. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Garphyttan's goalkeeper Tobias Levander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Gunnar Borre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garphyttan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Säve BF the free kick. In the 61st match minute, Garphyttan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunnar Borre to maneuver through the defense. Edward Vacker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Levander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Edward Vacker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
