Åke Rolfsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosenfors BF. After having played for 19 minutes, Jörgen Hellgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosenfors BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jörgen Hellgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Olov Engström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosenfors BF's Klas Hedman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Rosenfors BF from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Landvetter's Klas Hedman threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Victor Öberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Victor Öberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Klas Hedman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carl Björklund's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Klas Hedman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 44 minutes of play, Landvetter's Carl Björklund made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Klas Hedman was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jörgen Hellgren to make the kick off. Klas Hedman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Öberg in the 53rd minute of play. Tomas Emander charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Emander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rosenfors BF booed when Landvetter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Lundblad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carl Björklund scored 3-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Klas Hedman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Landvetter's zone, Jörgen Hellgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Åke Rolfsson came out of the goal and Jörgen Hellgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 74 played minutes Landvetter got a freekick which was hit by Marko Törnkvist. If Carl Björklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carl Björklund hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Klas Hedman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Björklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Carl Björklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Landvetter's supporters rose to their feet, but Carl Björklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klas Hedman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Björklund in the 90th minute of play forced Rosenfors BF's goalkeeper Klas Hedman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carl Björklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klas Hedman having to interfere. After 93 minutes of play, Landvetter's Marko Törnkvist made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
