The supporters of Sorunda IFK booed when Broby FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Käller didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute Ove Vester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uno Skog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathias Askestät charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mathias Askestät the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mathias Askestät hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Erland Pihlgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sorunda IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Erland Pihlgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonard Beckström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ove Vester to strike the kick off in the second half. Carl Finman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Uno Skog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carl Finman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Uno Skog having to make a save. Sorunda IFK's Christian Pettersson got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Broby FF's Leonard Beckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erland Pihlgren in the 79th minute of play. Carl Finman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jens-Erik Bagge kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute of the match Freddie Lång sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Uno Skog skillfully saved the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Sorunda IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Vester came free, but Uno Skog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
