Spectators: 7322 (Terracing: 5493, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 145) When Vimmerby Crows FC's Pål Brovall in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vidsel IF's goalie prevented a goal. Tom Bengtsson hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute Edward Björkkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Wästerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otto Wästerberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pål Brovall's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. The audience was convinced that Pål Brovall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otto Wästerberg was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Svante Vallgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Otto Wästerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15thth minute of the game Pål Brovall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vidsel IF's Otto Wästerberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Svante Vallgren took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Otto Wästerberg. Otto Wästerberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Pål Brovall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Svante Vallgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Otto Wästerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vimmerby Crows FC's Svante Vallgren got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27thth minute of the game Pål Brovall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vidsel IF's Otto Wästerberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Vimmerby Crows FC fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Vimmerby Crows FC's Pål Brovall looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Otto Wästerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pål Brovall in the 39th minute of the match. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vidsel IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edward Björkkvist was slow to take the kick. During this time Vimmerby Crows FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Vimmerby Crows FC's Edward Björkkvist to fire away a dangerous shot which Otto Wästerberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After the first half Vimmerby Crows FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pål Brovall made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Joachim Kielstedt took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Otto Wästerberg to make any attempt to save it. Eskil Torstensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon Sjöman in the 56th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Jon Sjöman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eskil Torstensson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. In the 60th minute, Vimmerby Crows FC's Björn Isaksson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Björn Isaksson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Vimmerby Crows FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Björn Isaksson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vimmerby Crows FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Vidsel IF. Sture Örtlund stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eskil Torstensson. 2-4. If Pål Brovall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Vidsel IF's zone, Pål Brovall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otto Wästerberg came out of the goal and Pål Brovall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Kent Alströmer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vimmerby Crows FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Alströmer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Otto Wästerberg came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Vimmerby Crows FC's Pål Brovall. But to his dismay, Pål Brovall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Eskil Torstensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon Sjöman in the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Vimmerby Crows FC's Pål Brovall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Otto Wästerberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-6. In the 88th minute Dan Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Torstensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Ström during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 93 played minutes Vidsel IF got a freekick which was hit by Dan Ström. When Valentin Gustavsson came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Vimmerby Crows FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Gustavsson couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Vimmerby Crows FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vidsel IF.
