Jädraås RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Birger Fransson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Berggren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Birger Fransson charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Birger Fransson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Birger Fransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st play minute Gustav Lundström came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tommy Berggren. 1-1. The supporters of Jädraås RK booed when Malgomaj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Kihlman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Svante Botvidsson was shown his second yellow card after 28 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustav Lundström to strike the kick off in the second half. Tommy Berggren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustav Lundström, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Gustav Lundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Berggren having to interfere. Gustav Lundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Tommy Berggren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gustav Lundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Birger Fransson came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Jädraås RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Birger Fransson couldn't finish the play. Tommy Berggren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Lundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sigvard Brolin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Ove Alebäck having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, Jädraås RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Pettersson to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Jädraås RK's zone, Sigvard Brolin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Ove Alebäck came out of the goal and Sigvard Brolin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 77 played minutes Jädraås RK got a freekick which was hit by Richard Pettersson. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulf Sundin during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Jädraås RK booed when Malgomaj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Sundin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Gustav Lundström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 90 minutes of play Malgomaj's Ulf Sundin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ulf Sundin hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Gustav Lundström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
