Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Erling Persson kicked off to start the match. Sven-Åke Deckberg kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Corneliu Coșereanu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Per-Erik Apelquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Tommy Berggren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Erling Persson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Corneliu Coșereanu was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Tommy Berggren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Åke Deckberg in the 16th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Kent Örtendahl managed to get in a good position for a shot. BjörnLigan's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Örtendahl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Berggren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Janich Nordager's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Berggren was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Erling Persson struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Corneliu Coșereanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malgomaj. After 35 played minutes Malgomaj got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Sundin. In the 39th match minute, Malgomaj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Kihlman to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Per-Erik Apelquist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BjörnLigan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3.

The wind increased when Janich Nordager made the kick off in the second half. Janich Nordager received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Tommy Berggren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corneliu Coșereanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Persson in the 63rd minute of the match. With his leg Tommy Berggren managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when BjörnLigan's Janich Nordager fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. BjörnLigan's Kent Örtendahl got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sigvard Brolin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Coșereanu having to interfere. Corneliu Coșereanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigvard Brolin, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Per-Erik Apelquist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Berggren. The goal made the score 0-6. Janich Nordager might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Berggren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Janich Nordager ran back to his position shaking his head. Janich Nordagers short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Tommy Berggren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. BjörnLigan's Corneliu Coșereanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigvard Brolin in the 89th minute of play. Sigvard Brolin scored 2-6 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Corneliu Coșereanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. BjörnLigan's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
