Valter Beneth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Niklas Billock came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Junosuando fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niklas Billock couldn't finish the play. If Niklas Billock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingemar Mogren was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 32nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niklas Billock was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Linus Larsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Richard Fagerberg charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richard Fagerberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Virserum getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. In the 55thth minute of the game Linus Larsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Virserum's Valter Beneth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Billock in the 57th minute of play forced Virserum's goalkeeper Valter Beneth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valter Beneth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Junosuando.
