They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sonny Berglund was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Stig-Ove Hedlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nordmaling RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Ove Hedlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicklas Alfors breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henry Månsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Vikström, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 65th minute, Göran Vikström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henry Månsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The supporters of Malå booed when Nordmaling RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin Petersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nordmaling RK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
